In-Person Casting Events To Occur in Edmonton,
Winnipeg, Montréal, and Halifax
TORONTO (February 15, 2023) – In-person casting is back! Proper Television today announces an exciting return to its cross-country casting tour in addition to virtual casting for the upcoming seventh season of THE GREAT CANADIAN BAKING SHOW (CBC). It also marks the first time that its previously invitation-only events are open call, asking any and all home bakers to attend with their best creations.
After casting the previous three seasons entirely virtually, producers are thrilled to be adding an in-person tour of select cities to meet with local bakers and taste their signature baking. While ongoing virtual casting continues for those who are not able to attend in person, the open call offers one more chance to earn a coveted spot in the Baking Tent, plus the opportunity to meet bakers from past seasons.
