Since Cathie James joined Proper in 2010, she has more than doubled the company’s production slate. She oversees development, represents the company at the markets, and has executive produced a number of original and international formats including MASTERCHEF CANADA, THE GREAT CANADIAN BAKING SHOW, and IRON CHEF CANADA. Prior to joining Proper, Cathie was part of the pioneering executive team at CBC Factual Entertainment that oversaw DRAGON’S DEN, BATTLE OF THE BLADES and HOW DO YOU SOLVE A PROBLEM LIKE MARIA. She has a Master’s degree in Journalism and began her career in news and current affairs.

Joining Proper Television in 2005, Lesia Capone has overseen more than 600 hours of field and studio-based productions with the company. Capone currently oversees the entire production slate of Proper Television, including MASTERCHEF CANADA, THE GREAT CANADIAN BAKING SHOW, CANADA’S WORST DRIVER, IRON CHEF CANADA, TOUGHER THAT IT LOOKS, LAST STOP GARAGE, and VEGAS RAT RODS. Prior to joining Proper Television, Capone worked in film production as a freelancer, working on films including Tuxedo, My Big Fat Greek Wedding, Deacons for Defense, and Expecting.

Allison Grace is a seasoned producer with over 20 years of experience developing and producing non-fiction television and award-winning documentaries for the international market. Since joining Proper in 2013, Allison has executive produced a number of original and international formats including STORAGE WARS CANADA, LAST STOP GARAGE and UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT with Arlene Dickinson. Prior to joining Proper, Allison was a Production Executive at Shaw Media overseeing multiple cross platform hit shows for HGTV, FOOD Network, and SLICE.
